The babyworks project!

dianne of babyworks has been kind enough to give me something to do with my days: paint words for each section of the gorgeous boutique! The words are presented here in reverse chronological order of completion.

Number 7: unwittingly continuing on a bird theme...

Number 6. The imperative "read" begs nerdy owls, right? My viewfinder choked a little on the size of these 20" letters.

Attempt number 5. SWADDLE and CUDDLE will go above the front door on the inside. The letters are large and bright, since they will be viewed from a distance.

Attempt number four. These little 5" letters are my very favorite to paint. Their small size encourages the use of brighter colors and feistier prints.

Attempt number three: these are the same stand-alone cardboard letters as "sale," and, once again, they reacted strangely to my flash...

Attempt number two. My flash did strange things to these images, but hopefully the idea is still clear. These sturdy cardboard letters stand on their own and will be set up on the table that features (drumroll, please) sale items.

Here's my first attempt, which will, we think, be affixed to a set of shelves full of  babywearing equipment (the link is for those of you who, like me, are completely unfamiliar with this term...) There will be more posts as the project progresses. Many thanks, dianne!
